Prof. (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar is the Director of Gujarat National Law University with nearly three decades of distinguished experience in legal education and academic leadership. He also serves as the Director (In-charge) of Gujarat Maritime University and as the President of the Gujarat International Maritime Arbitration Centre. An alumnus of the University of Madras, he completed his LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. in Law and practiced at the Madras High Court for seven years before entering academia. His areas of specialization include Environmental Law, Human Rights Law, International Law, and Constitutional Law. He has authored five authoritative books—three on Environmental Law and two on Human Rights Law—published by reputed institutions including LexisNexis and NLSIU (CEERA), and has contributed extensively to national and international journals and edited volumes. Prof. Shanthakumar holds several prestigious international and national positions, including Chair of the Environmental Law Study Group of the International Association of Law Schools, Member of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law, and Country Focal Point for India for the Asian Development Bank project on Environment and Climate Change Law. He is also associated with the Bar Council of India and State Planning Commission of Chhattisgarh. A recipient of multiple prestigious awards, he has delivered lectures at over 30 international universities and continues to play a pivotal role in shaping environmental and legal education globally.

Prof. (Dr.) M. K. Ramesh, Sc, LL.M., Ph.D. (University of Mysore), is one of India’s most eminent jurists in Environmental Law, Human Rights Law, International Law and Natural Resources Management Law, with nearly 43 years of professional experience. He served National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, for almost three decades as Professor of Law and briefly as Vice-Chancellor in 2019. He currently holds several prestigious positions including Advisor to the Chancellor, Vidyashilpa University; Distinguished Jurist Professor at HNLU, Raipur; Distinguished Professor at Bangalore University; and Member of the Board of Governors, BMS Law College.
Prof. Ramesh has authored five books and about 60 research articles and is the Founder Editor of the Indian Journal of Environmental Law. At NLSIU, he established CEERA, the Commons Cell, and the Environmental Law Clinic. A Senior Fulbright Fellow and Environmental Law Fellow at the Environmental Law Institute, he has served on numerous national and international expert bodies related to biodiversity, water policy, and environmental governance.
He has advised Indian governments, contributed to India’s climate policy initiatives, and worked with global institutions such as UNDP, UNEP, ADB, World Bank and IUCN. Through extensive international teaching, research and policy engagement, he has made enduring contributions to environmental jurisprudence, legal education and sustainable governance in India and abroad.

Senior Professor (Dr.) Usha Tandon is a distinguished scholar in Environmental Law, Gender Justice, Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and currently serves as the Founding Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj. With over three decades of teaching experience, she is internationally recognized for her contributions to environmental protection, women’s empowerment and human development.
She is the author and editor of several authoritative books published by leading international publishers including Oxford University Press, Routledge, Bloomsbury and Eastern Book Company. Her pioneering work Population Law in India remains a seminal contribution to legal scholarship. Her research articles, published in reputed international journals, have been acknowledged by the Supreme Court of India.
Prof. Tandon has presented her research across major academic platforms worldwide and serves as a reviewer for leading Scopus-indexed journals. She has held prestigious fellowships at Max Planck Institute, Germany and the International Institute of Human Rights, France, and has contributed as an expert to projects of the World Bank, UNDP, EU, BIICL and IUCN.
She has advised governments, participated in constitutional and policy consultations internationally, and led several nationally funded research projects. A recipient of multiple prestigious awards including the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Jurist Excellence Award (2025), she continues to play a transformative role in legal education, policy reform and global environmental and gender justice scholarship.

Dr. Manoj Kumar Sinha is currently working as the Vice-Chancellor of the Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur. Prior to joining the DNLU, he served the Indian Law Institute as its Director. He did his Doctorate in International Law from Jawaharlal Nehru University, LL.M. from the University of Nottingham and his LL.B. from the University of Delhi. His areas of specialisation are Human Rights, Constitutional Law, International Humanitarian and Refugee Law, International Criminal Law, International Law and International Institutions. He has published extensively in the fields of International Law, International Relations, Constitutional Law, International Human Rights, Humanitarian Law, and Refugee Law in reputed National and International Law journals. He serves on the editorial boards of several reputable national and international journals. Prof. Sinha is elected as President of The Indian Society of International Law and also a member of the Governing Bodies and Board of Studies, among other Statutory bodies of various Universities.

Dr. Sumanta Chakrabarti is a distinguished environmental professional and academic administrator with over 33 years of experience in environment, renewable energy, pollution control, and higher education governance. He is a rare recipient of both the prestigious Chevening Scholarship (UK, 2002) and Fulbright Fellowship (USA, 2010), and also participated in the US State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Programme on Urban Environmental Issues. During his Fulbright tenure, he worked with the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Dr. Chakrabarti served in key roles in the Government of Tripura, including Environmental Engineer at the Tripura State Pollution Control Board and Project Director of the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency. He led multiple World Bank, ADB, DST, MNRE, and MoEF funded projects, and played a pivotal role in implementing solid waste and hospital waste management systems across Tripura.
He later held senior academic administrative positions as Deputy Registrar and Registrar In-Charge at NIT Agartala and NIT Manipur, and is currently the Registrar of MBB University. He has published 11 research papers, presented 12 conference papers, guided M.Tech projects, and is co-supervising PhD scholars.
Honoured as “Engineer of the Year” (2019) by the Institution of Engineers (India), Dr. Chakrabarti is an active Rotarian, sports enthusiast, and social contributor, with extensive international exposure across Europe, the USA, and South Asia.

Dr Eghosa Ekhator is Associate Professor of International Environmental Law at the University of Derby, United Kingdom. His main research areas include International Environmental Law, African International Legal History, and Natural Resources Governance.
Dr Ekhator has published extensively on his research areas and his academic papers have been cited by a plethora of public and international agencies including the United Kingdom Parliament’s International Trade Committee and the United Nations Refugee Council. Dr Ekhator is also the Chair Committee on the Teaching of International Law and the SDGs, International Law Association (Nigerian Branch) and Senior Fellow Environmental Law and Sustainable Development – Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development (OGEES Institute) Afe Babalola University Nigeria. Dr Ekhator is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief, the Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy, Afe Babalola University, Nigeria. Dr Ekhator is also a Visiting Professor of Law at the Benson Idahosa University, Nigeria.

Dr. Jean-Claude N. Ashukem is a Senior Lecturer and course coordinator of Environmental Law and Sustainability II at the Oliver Schreiner School of Law, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He is a human rights and environmental analyst. He has interests in environmental procedural rights, comparative environmental rights, human rights, climate change, land grabbing, food security, and African development and governance. He has published extensively on these topics. He is the editor of Handbook on Business, Human Rights, and the Environment in Africa (Springer, 2025) and Handbook on the Human Rights to a Healthy Environment: International, Regional, and Comparative Pathways for Policy Intervention in Cameroon (Springer, 2025). He is also the co-editor of Human Rights and the Environment in Africa: A Research Companion (Routledge, 2023) and Domestic and Regional Environmental Laws and Policies in Africa: A Research Companion (Routledge, 2023).

Professor and current Head of the Department of Applied Psychology, University of Calcutta, with sustained academic and research experience since 2008. She has taught at multiple colleges and universities at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, contributing extensively to curriculum development and academic administration. Her specialization lies in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, with research interests in organizational well-being, occupational stress and mental health, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), work spirituality, leadership, employee engagement, organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB), gender and work, and entrepreneurship. She has published over 50 research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed international journals, as well as with leading academic publishers such as Springer Nature and Taylor & Francis. She has presented research at more than 20 national and international conferences and delivered 25+ invited lectures across universities and professional forums. She has successfully supervised Ph.D. scholars and continues to mentor doctoral and postgraduate research. Her academic career includes UGC- and ICSSR-funded research projects, edited volumes, conference proceedings, and active engagement in faculty development programmes and research training initiatives.

Dr. Soumik Gangopadhyay is a Professor in the Department of BBA at IEM–Kolkata (University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata), India, with over 25 years of combined experience in academia and industry, including more than eight years in the pharmaceutical sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, two MBAs (Marketing; Hospital & Health System Management from BITS Pilani), and a PhD from West Bengal State University.
He has conducted extensive executive and defence training programmes and received several accolades, including the IEM-UEM Excellence in Research Award (2022–23) and Gold Medals from Zydus Cadila. Dr. Gangopadhyay has presented award-winning research at national and international conferences and published widely in UGC-approved, ABDC, and SCOPUS-indexed journals, with work spanning healthcare management, non-communicable diseases, digital transformation, AI, sustainability, and pandemic studies.
An active reviewer for leading international journals, he has reviewed over 35 SCOPUS/WoS articles. He has authored and edited multiple influential books with Routledge, Springer Nature, Wiley-Scrivener, CRC Press, Emerald, and Bentham Books, including collaborations in volumes edited by Philip Kotler. With several funded research projects completed and ongoing, Dr. Gangopadhyay remains a significant contributor to interdisciplinary management and healthcare research.
